Skiing & Snowboarding Rusutsu
With three peaks and 42km of epic terrain makes Rusutsu one of the largest resorts in Hokkaido. Rusutsu boasts incredible terrain to suit all levels of skiers and snowboarders, with wide groomers that are frequently groomed, to the unique terrain parks. Guest will also be able to ski day to night, with an array of dedicated night skiing routes. Because of its perfect location, Rusutsu will receive on average 15 meters on Ja-Pow each season.
How to get to Rusutsu
Rusutsu in conveniently situated at the base of the West Mt, where you will find hotels, restaurants, and activities galore. Because of this, there is no need for transport or buses to experience all the resort has to offer.
Most major airlines that fly into Japan will have services to New Chitose Airport. From New Chitose Airport there are bus services that run frequently to the resort daily. The trip time from New Chitose to Rusutsu is approximately 2 hours.
Rusutsu also has free shuttle transfers from Sapporo. This is a great service for those who are looking at having a stop over in Sapporo before continuing to Rusutsu, or for those planning muti destination ski holidays.
