Telluride Overview
Recognized as one of the top ski destinations in Colorado, Telluride offers more than 2,000 acres of skiable terrain ideal for all ability levels. Having an abundance of terrain will have skiers and snowboarders feeling thrilled that the lifts remain uncrowded throughout the season. Guests who have visited the resort have said Telluride is one of the most beautiful places they have ever visited, as it is located in Colorado’s breathtaking Box Canyon which is surrounded by soaring mountains and natural beauty.

Once an old mining town, Telluride now oozes rich history and charm that is a reflection of its founding days. Glimpses from the past can seen throughout store fronts when walking through the main street.
Where to stay in Telluride
Telluride has accommodation options that suit all travelling styles, from 5 star lodges to clean and comfortable hotel rooms.

If you are looking for ski-in, ski-out accommodation options or wanting quick access to the lifts each morning then we would recommend staying at the base of the mountain in Telluride's Mountain Village. With a range of great hotels, lodges, suites and condos all within walking distance to chairlifts, ski schools and several restaurants and cafes, everything you could want from a ski holiday will be at your fingertips.

Alternatively, if you are looking to stay off mountain then we would recommend staying in Telluride’s Downtown area. Confident skiers and snowboarders will be able to ski into town, however to ski-out you will need to take the gondola and chairlift to the slopes. Compared to Telluride's Mountain Village there are more dinning and shopping options, and still has a great selection of hotels, condos, and lodges.
