Hakuba Ski Resort
Getting There: Transfers from Narita Airport are available and suit most flight times. This is not a door to door service, all Hakuba arrivals and departures are to/from the Happo Bus Terminal. The only exception to this is the 8:30pm service from Narita Airport. This bus arrives the following morning at 1:15am in resort and will transport you to your accommodation. Most accomodations provide a complimentary pick up/drop off service from the Happo Bus Terminal. Budget accommodations like Gondola Lodge and Hotel do not, therefore we recommend taking a taxi from the Bus Terminal.
Alternatively, if you are wishing to extend your holiday either side in Tokyo, or just experience the world famous Shinkansen (bullet train), we can arrange selected JR Passes and the local bus from Nagano Station.
Getting Around: There are 10 different ski resorts located in the Hakuba Valley (and one more, Jiigatake, just outside). Not all resorts offer complimentary shuttle bus services, but the main resorts which are Happo - One, Hakuba 47/Goryu, Iwatake and Tsugaike all offer complimentary shuttle bus services to and from the mountain to designated bus stops throughout the Hakuba Valley. More information on shuttle bus services and timetables are available at your accommodation or the Happo Information Centre located at the Happo Bus Terminal.
