Riverbend Breckenridge
Located directly next to the Snowflake Lift, Riverbend boasts luxury along with a prime ski in / ski out location. At the beginning of your ski day, ski to the base of the Snowflake Lift, which will take you to the easy green run, Twister. At the bottom of Twister is the base of Peak 8 and a myriad of chairlifts which will take you to other parts of the mountain. At the end of your day, follow the Four O'Clock Run back to the Snowflake Run and ski to your front door! In the summer, Riverbend is situated among acres of forested hiking and mountain biking trails. All guests also enjoy the added luxury of Wyndham Vacation Rentals' complimentary, on-call guest shuttle which provides door to door service to any location in Breckenridge. These lovely condominiums are tucked among the pines in a neighborhood of their own. Riverbend at Breckenridge offers spacious condos, each with a separate living room, family room, and blazing gas fireplaces. Each condo includes a spacious full kitchen with appliances, coffee / tea makers, cooking utensils and dinnerware. Most units have washers and dryers with complimentary detergent. Daily housekeeping is provided upon request. Extra amenities include a heated parking garage, common are outdoor hot tub and sauna, a fitness room complete with treadmill, elliptical machine and weight machine, and wireless internet. Just down the street, at the River Mountain Lodge, are a 24 hour front desk, bell service, concierge and a maintenance department for any other needs. Where to stay in Breckenridge
Breckenridge has a range of accommodation options to suit most types of ski holiday, from hotels and condo’s (apartments) through to private houses and small lodges. There are a few different areas to stay, depending on your budget and preferences.
 
Downtown Breckenridge has the advantage of being economical and has access to lots of dining and bars, with lifts being walking distance from the edges of town. The Village at Breckenridge is located directly across from the Super6 chair and has great access to town as well. Peak 9 is a little further up the resort and has ski in, ski out access. Peak 8 & Peak 7 are further up again and both have epic access to the slopes and are especially good for intermediate riders and above with Peak 8 being the better choice for access families who want to use ski school or day care options.
Skiing Breckenridge
Breckenridge is nestled amongst Colorado's famous "fourteeners", with 3 of the 14,000ft + mountains visible from Breckenridge: Quadary, Grays Peak and Torreys Peak. They offer a spectacular site, and when you to the top of the Imperial Lift, many more can be seen off into the distance. These fabulously huge mountains create their own weather, increasing the chances of fresh snow from both the north and west. Thanks to the sheer size of Brekenridge and the wonderful snow conditions, it's a perfect combination for skiers of all terrain abilities to ride and progress their skills.

Getting around Breckenridge
Getting around Breckenridge is easy to navigate, the downtown area is walkable, but there are also buses that go from downtown to the ski area. From Peak 9, town is still only a short 10-15 walk away and Beaver Run has shuttle services. Both Peak 8 & Peak 7 are too far to walk and do require a shuttle to get to town.
How to Get to Breckenridge
Located in Colorado, Breckenridge’s closed international airport is Denver Airport, which is just shy of a 2-hour drive and there is a shuttle service from Denver City. Alternatively, you can arrange transfers through your hotel.
Things to do in Breckenridge in winter
Not surprisingly, the main attraction is skiing and snowboarding but Breckenridge has all your other winter holidays experiences too. Try snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, sledding, dog sledding, snowmobiling and fat bike riding during your stay.

Breckenridge has a great après ski scene, with great options for traditional happy hour drinks straight off the slopes as well as some late night options that pump until the early hours. There are craft breweries, live music venues, karaoke, sports bars and regular old pubs and clubs. We promise if après is a big part of your snow holiday, Breckenridge will not disappoint!
 
Faves include Rita’s for Tacos and Margs; The worlds highest distillery, Breckenridge Distillery; Ember for cocktails; Copper Top Bar for arvo sessions on the deck; and Cecilia’s for dancing!
 
Best Restaurants in Breckenridge:
There are more than 50 restaurants to choose in the Breckenridge area, the majority are in downtown but the hotels and resorts further up the mountain do having dining as well if you don’t want to make the trip to Breck for every meal.
 
At nice there are lots of great pubs and taverns with hearty food and affordable pricing. Pizza lovers will rejoice, with quite a few places to choose between. For something special Aurum Food & Wine or Hearthstone Restaurant are great options. On-mountain dining at Breckenridge can be pretttty hectic, so don’t wait until you are hungry to find somewhere to eat!
