Where to stay in Deer Valley
A relatively spread-out resort, there are two small villages in Deer Valley, which offer condo style accommodation and private homes as well as luxury hotels. Most accommodation is ski in, ski out, or only a short stroll from the Deer Valley ski lifts. Visitors to Deer Valley often stay in Park City and explore both ski areas.
Skiing Deer Valley
Deer Valley is a skier’s dream – exclusive to skiers only – where guests enjoy the 103 runs via the 24 lifts with impressive lifting capacity. Deer Valley caps its daily skier limits at a low number, to ensure guests are never waiting in line at the base of the lifts. With an even spread of terrain, all levels of skier will find terrain to their liking across the extensive 2,000 acres – beginners have a large portion of 27% of the mountain to build their confidence on. Intermediate (41%) and Advanced (32%) terrain spreads far and wide enjoying chutes, glades, and bowls, between the perfect corduroy turns Deer Valley is famous for. Skiers of all levels can learn from the best at Deer Valley, with exceptional instructors on staff take the opportunity to fine tune your skills.

mysnow tip: Deer Valley limited the number of tickets sold each day to ensure there are never huge crowds, this is awesome for skiers on weekends and in peak periods!
Getting around Deer Valley
Public transport in Park City is free for all, and local bus services can get you between Park City and Deer Valley. Alternatively, check if your property offers a free town car or shuttle service, which is common amongst most high-end properties. The village area is easily accessed on foot, but not all properties are located in the village, with resorts, lodges and condos scattered across the area.

Deer Valley is located only 45 minutes’ drive from Salt Lake International Airport, and easy transfer from airside to checking into your on-snow accommodation.
Things to do in Deer Valley in Winter
Take the time to settle into the Deer Valley pace and relax in style. When you’re not enjoying the perfectly groomed runs, try out the retail shopping and day spas – notably the Remede at the St Regis, the Spa Montage and The Spa Stein Eriksen Lodge. If action is more your style, check out the snowmobiling, dog sleigh rides, snowshoeing and Nordic skiing.

Deer Valley offers fine dining to casual options for guests. Daly’s is the place for a fun pub atmosphere, complete with bowling alley. Try Fireside Dining for four wonderful courses, served from their stone fireplaces. Book an igloo at Stein Eriksen’s Troll Hallen Lounge for an hearty alpine meal in your private igloo! Lastly, head to Yama Sushi for stunning fresh sushi, and Japanese favourites like Takoyaki, with an incredible view to match the menu.
