Steamboat is located in north-west Colorado, a 30-minute drive from Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN) in Hayden.

From Australia, fly into Los Angeles, San Francisco or Dallas, then connect to Steamboat via domestic flights with United, American or Delta. The Hayden airport offers direct flights from several major US cities during winter, so you can avoid long drives from Denver.

Loz: Gravity Haus is an excellent budget-friendly hotel with ski-in, ski-out access. Rooms are cozy, we had a great view of the slopes. Loved the restaurant and bar and the hot tub was excellent after a day on the slopes.
Emily A: Steamboat Grand has awesome facilities, onsite restaurant, pool, hot tub only a short work to the slopes. The hotel had large condo’s, so the hotel is perfect families.
Emily P: The Edgemont is beautiful, each condo is uniquely decorated, and they feel like a home, not a hotel. The ski-in, ski-out location was perfect. 

Where to ski Steamboat?

Steamboat's 3,000 acres of terrain includes wide cruisers, world-famous tree skiing, and newly added expert runs. Beginners will love the smooth green trails off Christie Peak Express, while intermediates can carve their way down Sunshine Peak’s long blue groomers. Advanced skiers can test their skills on the double blacks in Mahogany Ridge and Fish Creek Canyon. For even more fun, night skiing is available on select trails.

Loz: Lessons at Greenhorn Ranch are awesome for kids, they have a magic carpet and decent amount of space for beginners to get started, ski instructors were really switched on and swapped out guests if they felt they were able to progress faster.
Grace: The tree skiing in Steamboat is so fun! There are wide open areas and tighter more snug area for those wanting a challenge.
