About your ski holiday
Imagine your kids carving their first turns at Happo-One, home of the 1998 Winter Olympics, while the snow-capped Northern Alps tower overhead. The Hakuba Valley is made for families, with ten resorts on one pass offering gentle beginner slopes, snow play areas and English-speaking ski schools, plus thrilling terrain for parents to sneak in a few powder laps.
Home for your stay is Kado Hakuba, a boutique collection of just 12 brand-new apartments nestled behind the famous Olympic sign at the edge of Wadano Forest. The spacious two-bedroom apartments give everyone room to spread out, and a fully equipped kitchen makes fussy eaters and family budgets easy, with Lawson convenience store close by. A washer/dryer handles soggy gloves and snow gear overnight, and dedicated ski storage keeps the apartment clutter-free.
Happo-One’s lifts are under a kilometre away, and the Tokyu Grand Spa onsen is a short stroll for a relaxing family experience.
